SLJ Week #1 Day #1 Activity #3

Here is Week 1 Day #1 Activity #3:
Remember I get my activities from here.

I chose the SPCA.
So, the SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) helps animals in need find a home & an owner. The SPCA rescues them from bush fires or other emergencies. All the staff at the SPCA are like best friends to the animals there. The animals are well fed and aren't put in a small carrier; they are put in a fairly big enclosure.

SLJ Week #1 Day #1 Activity #2

I  am back! It's SLJ time! Here is Week #1 Day #1 Activity #2:
Remember, this is where I get all my activities from.

I'm Jaimie & I'm a NZ European Girl (Pakeha). I speak English. My dad comes from England, My Mum comes from Hasting, NZ & me and my sister come from Auckland, NZ. We both go to Waikowhai Primary School & we have some fish & two cats; Minnie & Rosie.

What is special to us is family & friends. We have lots of them though none of our family live in Auckland. We have lots of family & friends & we catch up with them a lot.

SLJ Week #1 Day #1 Activity #1

Hi bloggers,
I am back! The Summer Learning Journey (SLJ) is officially here! The teaser week is over and the real activities are here. If you want to check out all the activities I will be doing then go to this link. My goal for this year is to finish all of the tasks or at least do as many as I can. 
So, here is Week 1 Day #1 Activity #1:

So, I'm on a boat with Nainoa Thompson. I have to list 10 foods I would bring on the boat with me. Here they are:

1) Tomatoes because they don't need a fridge and they are healthy.

2) Bread because we need grains.

3) Peanut Butter to go with my celery & sandwiches.
4) Nuts so I can stay healthy on the trip.

5) Macadamia Butter so I can have sandwiches.

6) Meat so I can have protein.

7) Toffee Apples so that I can keep my energy.

8) Cheese so that I am eating dairy.

9) Yoghurt so that I eating dairy.

10) Celery because I need fruit & it can go with peanut butter.

Those are my 10 foods.

Teaser Week Day 2 Activity #2

I am back!
This is Day 2 Activity #2 for SLJ:

Ok, this is going to be easy since I'm a girl.

I think that women should be get made as much; maybe more, than boys. One reason is because the women have actually won more world cups than the men so there is absolutely no real reason for women to deserve to be paid less. In my opinion, the Black Ferns should actually get paid more than the All Blacks. Though, that wouldn't be fair for the All Blacks, so both genders should be paid the same amount of money.
