Hi everyone!
For Week 1 Day 1 Activity 3 for the Summer Learning Journey, I had to put ways to stay safe online in a picture of a footprint. Here is what I have done:

  3. Kia ora Jaimie,

Happy New Year! It is awesome to see you back completing some great activities. The Summer Learning Journey (SLJ) team has been busy trying to keep up with all the students at Waikowhai as you have all been very busy.

Thank you so much for sharing such a detailed post of you should do to stay smart online. I really like how you have included a list of ways to stay smart online. I like how you have talked about the fact you can communicate with people you do not know online. This is definitely something that could happen as your blog is visible to everyone. What kind of information do you think is smart to keep private when sharing on your blog?

You have shared some great tips on how to stay smart online but have you thought about what a positive digital footprint is? To me, it means that you should share positive posts where you are talking nicely about people, and that you visit websites that are safe. What does a positive footprint mean to you?

I am looking forward to reading your response,
    Megan :)
