Water for a cactus in a year

Hi everyone!
Did you know that cacti can survive with only 3 millilitres a day of water?
For Week 1 Day 2 Activity 3 in the Summer Learning Journey we had to think that we had gotten a cactus for our birthday and had to look after it. Then we had to figure out how much water the cactus would need for a year.
I figured out the answer. It is: 1095 millilitres.

Ferns

Hi everyone!
Today, for Week 1 Day 2 Activity 2 in the Summer Learning Journey, I had to think of 3 NZ Teams that have the word fern in the name and put a picture of their uniform. Then, I have to say which team is our favourite.

Tall Ferns

Black Ferns

Silver Ferns

My favourite team is the Silver Ferns.

Tane Mahuta

Hi everyone!
For Week 1 Day 2 Activity 1 in the Summer Learning Journey, I have to say if I would visit the tallest Kauri tree, Tane Mahuta or Lord of the forest, in the northland.

I would like to visit Tane Mahuta in the Northland because I can't remember the last time I saw a kauri tree and I don't see Kauri trees very often.

I hope you enjoyed my blogpost. Blog you later!

Describing our hometown

Hi everyone!
For Week 1 Day 1 Activity 2 for the Summer Learning Journey, we had to describe our hometown.
Here is my description:
It is rainy a lot of the time and you can see the skytower from almost anywhere. The skytower is 328m tall! It is very busy in Auckland, espesially in town. I love that there are lots of events happening all the time but overall I am glad to live in Auckland because it is very safe and we don't get much dangerous things happening like volcano eruptions or earthquakes and tsunamis.

That is my description. I hope you liked it.
