Self Portraits

Hey bloggers,
This term, Te Waka Ako have been doing our self portraits. First, we sketched our face, then painted, then dyed, then coloured it and glued the other side of our face on it. Here is a photo of mine:

Thanks for reading my blog post. If you have any free time, please leave a comment. Have your school done any self portraits before?

Cameron Pools Swimming

Hi everyone; I am back!
Throughout the term, Te Waka Ako have been going to Cameron Pools for extra swimming lessons. We've been doing free -style, swimming with a board and arm circles.
We even got to swim with life-jackets and fall of the back of an inflatable boat!

We had our life-jackets on and the swimming instructors would help us into the inflatable boat. Then, with one arm over our chest and the other holding our nose, we fell backwards into the pool off the boat. I did a back-flip under the water! The people in my group were:
Caleb, Mahan, Grayson, Nirvana Jayde, Martin, Noah, Santanna and Pao.
Here are some photos:

Thanks for reading my blog post. I hope you enjoyed it! Have you ever had swimming lessons at Cameron Pools? If you have any free time, please leave a comment.

Getting to know to you Form 2020

Hey bloggers,
I'm back! This term, Te Waka Ako have been writing our Getting To Know You forms. G.T.K.Y. forms have 7 sections; family background, things I do not like, things I like, what is important to me and my family, my friends, things I am good at & what do I want people to know about me. You will find out things about me like I love to play football. I also have two cats and fish. In the middle of these sections, you have to add in one or two photos of yourself. Then, you can add colours and fonts. Have a look at mine:
