Me Drawing Bird in Lockdown

Hi guys,
I am back!
I have today drawn some birds. Here they are:
Blue Budgie

Male Cockatiel
Yellow and Blue Macaw
I am gonna make a whole big page of them called the bird wall. This is the bird wall so far. I will keep adding on pieces of paper every time I do a drawing of a bird.

Paige and I dancing to Party in the U.S.A.

Hi bloggers,
I'm back! Recently, my little sister, Paige broke her arm. She fell off her scooter and now has a full cast on! But, cast doesn't stop her from moving. She loves to dance. This is Paige and I dancing to Party in the U.S.A. by Miley Cyrus. If you want some photos of Paige in hospital, go to her blog here.

Here's the video: (She owed me because I was in the video with her. It takes a lot to convince me to dance on camera. I'm usually a really good dancer but I hate dancing in-front of a crowd.)

Buddy - My Praying Mantis

Hey everyone,
I am back! Lockdown has been pretty boring for everyone but I have my fish, cats and new praying mantis. I found him/her (I call it a boy) outside on our cabbage tree and have had him for a couple of weeks now. He has him own container the correct size with holes in the lid. It has dirt at the bottom with sticks to climb on and fruit-flies and aphids to eat.
My Mum said he might like to be set free so I thought about it for a few days and decided it was best to set him free. So, I went to put him by some bugs on our lettuce plant but he didn't go onto the lettuce. He walked straight back up my arm! He wanted to stay with me! He has just recently molted and he can walk across a rope upside down like a tightrope. He can also jump from one paper cup to the other if I put food on one of the cups. I'm going to train him to jump really far and enter him in a talent show!

In one of these photos, I was taking a photo of him on my hand. Then, once I had taken the photo, he randomly pounced onto my keyboard! Here are a few photos and videos of him:

I just researched that about his gender and it turns out he is a boy!

Ok, bye for now! If you have any free time, please leave a comment. Blog you later!

Self Portraits

Hey bloggers,
This term, Te Waka Ako have been doing our self portraits. First, we sketched our face, then painted, then dyed, then coloured it and glued the other side of our face on it. Here is a photo of mine:

Thanks for reading my blog post. If you have any free time, please leave a comment. Have your school done any self portraits before?

Cameron Pools Swimming

Hi everyone; I am back!
Throughout the term, Te Waka Ako have been going to Cameron Pools for extra swimming lessons. We've been doing free -style, swimming with a board and arm circles.
We even got to swim with life-jackets and fall of the back of an inflatable boat!

We had our life-jackets on and the swimming instructors would help us into the inflatable boat. Then, with one arm over our chest and the other holding our nose, we fell backwards into the pool off the boat. I did a back-flip under the water! The people in my group were:
CalebMahanGraysonNirvana JaydeMartinNoahSantanna and Pao.
Here are some photos:

Thanks for reading my blog post. I hope you enjoyed it! Have you ever had swimming lessons at Cameron Pools? If you have any free time, please leave a comment.

Getting to know to you Form 2020

Hey bloggers,
I'm back! This term, Te Waka Ako have been writing our Getting To Know You forms. G.T.K.Y. forms have 7 sections; family background, things I do not like, things I like, what is important to me and my family, my friends, things I am good at & what do I want people to know about me. You will find out things about me like I love to play football. I also have two cats and fish. In the middle of these sections, you have to add in one or two photos of yourself. Then, you can add colours and fonts. Have a look at mine:
